BIO

Ahmed Raslan is an award-winning film director, cinematographer, and creative leader based in Dubai. Known for his emotionally charged, visually striking storytelling, Ahmed has directed campaigns for global brands like Adidas, Jumeirah, and Arsenal, blending cultural authenticity with bold cinematic craft. His work spans branded films, documentaries, and one-shot stunts, often spotlighting real people and raw narratives that resonate deeply with audiences.

Previously as the Head of Content and production at Havas Middle East, Ahmed built and led a regional production team from the ground up across the UAE, KSA, Egypt, and Oman. His campaigns have earned recognition from Cannes Lions, D&AD, Clio Awards, The One Show, and Dubai Lynx, among others. In 2022, he was named the #1 photographer in MENA and Africa by The Loeries and The One Club, and was selected as one of 120 global rising talents by the London International Awards.

Ahmed is also the co-founder of Riwaya, a UAE-born fashion label rooted in storytelling and Arabic typography, and currently leads content & production at Creators HQ, where he is driving content innovation for the 1 Billion Followers Summit and other groundbreaking projects in the creator economy.

His work sits at the intersection of culture, community, and creativity, designed to move people, shift perspectives, and build meaningful connections through film.
