What is HeyProData?
HeyProData is the UAE’s dedicated film and media crew directory. It helps industry professionals find crew quickly and allows freelancers and creatives to showcase their full range of skills in one central, searchable place.
Who is it for?
HeyProData is built for CREW working in UAE’s film, TV and media industries and vendors who support this industry. This includes producers, crew, freelancers, agencies and creatives of all kinds.
How is this different from WhatsApp groups or social media?
WhatsApp is great for communication. HeyProData adds clarity. It gives context to those conversations by providing a searchable directory of professionals who choose to be visible, organised by skill and role.
Is HeyProData a social platform?
No. It is a functional tool built for visibility and access. It doesn’t have likes, follows or posts. It exists to help people get discovered and hired.
Is this free to use?
Yes. It’s free to use.
Can I use it on my phone?
Yes. The platform is mobile-friendly and can be accessed via browser on your phone or computer.
Registration & Profiles
How do I create a profile?
Head over to Join the Crew and fill in your info.
What should I include in my profile?
Give a clear and brief snapshot of your skills, roles, experience and any work you want to showcase. Make sure spelling, grammar and capitalisation are correct. This is how people will view your professional presence.
Can I include links?
Yes. You can add one link. We recommend using a Linktree or similar one-link portfolio, as links placed in the bio section may not display consistently.
Can I edit my profile later?
At the moment, profiles are not editable after submission. Please double-check your entry before submitting. Future versions may support login-based editing.
What profiles should I choose?
Choose profiles that reflect the actual individual roles you can be hired for. You can list multiple relevant roles if they reflect your skill set. Have a look on the HeyProData directory for current profile categories.
Is there an approval process?
Yes. Submissions are reviewed before they go live to ensure quality and consistency.
How do I upload a profile pic?
Once you submit your registration, look out for instructions on the confirmation page.
